South Korea's CJ Entertainment announced a slew of deals for spy actioner Confidential Assignment, ahead of its market debut at the European Film Market in Berlin next month.
The film has been sold to 42 territories, including the U.S., the Middle East, India, the Philippines and Mongolia. It will open in American cinemas via direct distribution by CJ on Jan. 27, followed by Australia/New Zealand on Feb. 9, Hong Kong/Macao on Feb. 16, Taiwan on Feb. 17 and Vietnam on March 3. CJ, which operates a chain of cinemas in Indonesia, will also handle its upcoming release in the Asian country. Read More via HollywoodReporter.
