From Mai Masri’s first feature 3000 Nights, to the latest film Villa Touma directed by Suha Arraf, to The Curve starring Ashraf Barhom (The Kingdom, Clash of the Titans), the Palestinian Film Festival is back to shine light on Palestinian perspectives from around the world.
Eight films and nine shorts including award-winning features and documentaries will screen in Perth (2-4 Dec), with tickets on sale at www.palestinianfilmfestival.com.au.
Festival Director, Naser Shakhtour said, “This festival's theme is simple yet heartfelt: Visit Palestine. Many of us have a connection to Palestine. It may it be ancestral, spiritual, political, humanitarian or educational. Whatever your interest may be, this year’s program promises a cinematic journey of unforgettable imagery and creative, thought-provoking storytelling.”
