Tightrope walkers from the Mozyr-based circus center Arena will represent Belarus at one of the oldest international circus festivals Circuba for the first time. The festival will take place in Cuba's capital, Havana from 25 June to 2 July, BelTA learned from the center's director Natalia Daineko.
The performers from Mozyr will present their act Funambulists that won the silver prize of the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival in January 2017. The culture center Carpa Trompoloco, the venue of the festival, will also see acts by circus performers from Latin America, Asia, and Europe, including such countries as the United States, China, Brazil, Japan, Canada, Mexico, and others.
